📢 Public service announcement: if you’re planning to buy books, please don’t stroll into the store 1 minute before closing. Contrary to popular belief, booksellers also enjoy sitting on a sun-drenched terrace with a cold beer instead of waiting for your “quick browse” through 3 floors of fiction. 🍺

We’re excited to welcome Robbyn Layne to ABC for a conversation around her debut book Kissing the Muse: A Messy Magical Memoir & Creative Guide. 📚✨

Part memoir, part creative companion, the book explores what it means to reconnect with creativity in an honest, imperfect, and personal way. Through stories from her own life, reflective prompts, and playful exercises, Robbyn invites readers to let go of perfectionism and make space for curiosity, intuition, and creative joy again.

During the event, Robbyn will be in conversation with ABC’s Claudio Tapia, with readings from the book and a few interactive creative moments inspired by The Messy Magical Muse card deck.

We’ll start sometime within the first hour after opening each day (Friday around 11am) and keep going until closing , or until the boxes are empty.
