Lovely people! It's been quiet on this page.. ever since "the" virus started spreading, we have been spreading less on Facebook 😅. So hereby a little update.. Malou is still making looooots of chocolate inside (and is loving it everyday a little bit more). Also, her friend Christiane is opening doors EVERY Sunday from 12 till 18 with amazing vegan meals to go. And hot chocolate. And whatever chocolatey stuff is in the house. Definitely worth the visit! We hope to see you soon inside again ♥️

Good evening lovely people, as we host a public place to visit and join events with we realised that we need to make a statement in what is currently happening with regard to the spreading virus.

We feel that all of us should take as much responsibility as we can for our society. Each one can do their part to minimise the spreading and optimise dealing with it in a constructive matter. And so can we. We, like most of us, have vulnerable people around us and we want to do what we can to protect our community. And one of the big things is unconscious spreading of the virus. It seems that even without symptoms, anyone could be a carrier of this virus. Hence, we find it not wise to host a gathering for multiple people and we have decided to cancel our upcoming events for the time being.

Also our Fridays and Saturdays we will not be open for now. We are still available privately for meetings, also inside Chocolalaland, but please contact us to set a time for that.

Malou is working on renewing her website so that you can order your chocolate/ cacao cravings online as well ;)

Last Saturday's SOLD OUT! Hiske. & guests - music, food & chocolate was again a beauty of an evening. The power cut at the start of the music asked for an acoustic improvisation and showed how talented the musicians and relaxed the audience was. With lots of candles from our neighbour the mood was set for an overall warm night. When the electricity returned, HISKE. and her guests were able to truly share their work and amaze all of us within their musical journey.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this evening, we are already looking forward to the next one!

This week is Chocoa, the yearly huge get-together of all people chocolate and cacao. Farmers, makers, sellers and lovers. I will be one of the speakers on Friday. Part of a panel for professionals about other products than chocolate bars. Chocoa brought and taught me a lot and I'm happy to be involved in this great event. Almost a week of crazy chocolate geeks in my home town 🤓🍫. All doing our best to raise the bar in this chocolate industry! ✊
