Weight Loss Hack:
If you prefer bulgar wheat texture, use 1/2 and 1/2!💁‍♀️

1. Fried egg over avocado toast/ Strawberries + chia seeds over pecan butter toast/ Bananas + granola over pecan butter toast/ Soft scramble over avocado toast.
2. Berries plus h**p seeds over avocado toast/ Soft boiled egg over avocado toast/ Smoked salmon over avocado toast/ Tomatoes with evoo over avocado toast.
3. DKB topped with chocolate almond butter, strawberries, sea salt + honey/ Avocado, fried egg + new bae seasoning/ Avocado, tomatoes + EBTB seasoning/ Cashew butter topped with wild blueberries + honey.
4. Crunchy almond butter topped with blackberries/ Coffee cashew almond butter topped with strawberries/ Chocolate almond butter topped with bananas/ Smooth almond butter topped with wild blueberries .

🔴I HAVE NO TIME PARADOX 🔴 by

I will be honest with you, I’m no angel every single day 😇.

I know what my pitfalls are, and up untill this day I do my upmost best to improve them.

One of those is time management 😅.

It’s easy to run out of the door and grab something on the go, but it might not always be the healthiest and most cost effective choice.

And yes, when in a rush I do like my comfort food (Croissant + grande cappuccino) to make me feel at ease again. 😋🥐.

There are so many quick and EASY ways to make nourishing your body fit into your lifestyle! It’s all about trial and error!

Set that alarm 10 minutes earlier so you can jump out of bed and make breakfast at home. ⏰.

If you can’t wake up earlier try preparing overnight oats or simply grabbing toast on the go in the morning. 👩🍳.

I know how hard a fresh start can be, so let me help you with one of my favorite smoothies I make:

Creamy Berry Smoothie

Prep time: 10 minutes

Yields:
2 servings

Ingredients
1 avocado
1 cup blueberries
1 cup blackberries
2 tbsps chia seeds
Juice of 2 limes
1 cup almond milk
5 ice cubes

Directions
Wash and pat all produce dry.
De-pit and score avocado and transfer to blender.
Add remaining ingredients and blend on high until smooth and creamy.

Really in a rush? Remove the avocado 🥑 to save up some time.

p.s. not a fan of almond milk? Try Soy- or Coconut milk. 🥥.

🍉FRUIT🍉
Here you can see all fruit has different macros, calories & sugar. Sugar from fruit has the same metabolic result as from chocolate. But the combination of sugar & fibre makes it more likely to satisfy your hunger and it is more nutritious!


🍪BISCUITS🍪
Shortbread biscuits have the highest calories and party rings have the lowest! Sure there are more nutritious snacks, but what is life without tea and biscuits..! Any good can be enjoyed as part of a well balanced diet🤜🤛


🍡ICE CREAM🍡
An array of low calorie options can easily fit into most diets regularly with relative caloric insignificance. Ice creams that are calorie dense can as well be enjoyed depending on total energy intake.


🍞 BREAD🍞
In terms of calories, white bread is similar to wholemeal & rye. Therefore, you won’t necessarily manage weight better by consuming brown, despite it being less refined. The key difference=fibre.


🥩MEAT🥩
Protein dense. As you can see, there are lower calorie options for the same or greater protein value.


🍍LOWER CALORIE FOOD🍍

They’re a great source of many nutrients, particularly potassium, magnesium, and B6. But really, I eat them bc they’re sooo delicious, convenient, and cheap! ❤️. We eat them almost every single day.

🤔Did you ever wonder what happens as they change in color? If so, here you go!

green —> yellow —> brown
as the 🍌ripens:
✅resistant starch content decreases
✅tastes sweeter - resistant starch turns into sugar
✅gets digested easier and quicker (causing a spike in the blood sugar)
✅some of the micronutrient levels decrease - happens with all produce to some degree once harvested
✅antioxidant levels increase

For babies and toddlers, really green may be too hard on their little tummies and can cause or make pre-existing constipation worse.

they are a great source of though (check out my previous post). I purchase unripe banana and start offering it to Caleb when it is predominately yellow with a slight hint of green (as pictured). Yellow ones disappear ever so quickly around here, and the brown ones get used for baking 👍.

⏰if you want to speed up the ripening process, place in a brown paper bag. if you want to slow it down then place in the refrigerator. The peel will turn brown but the inner flesh will be just fine.

Only have 5 minutes for breakfast in the morning?⏰ Instead of skipping out on breakfast or grabbing something to go, throw together these quick ideas for a refreshing and filling way to start your day☀️Meal prep ideas for the week ahead as well🤩


1️⃣ 🍍PROTEIN TROPICAL YOGURT
1 cup frozen tropical fruit
3/4 cup full fat Greek yogurt
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/3 cup almond milk or milk of choice


2️⃣🍯HOT or COLD OATMEAL
This recipe contains some of my favorite oatmeal toppings including: almond butter, dark chocolate chips and fruit!


3️⃣🍳PROTEIN EGG MUFFINS
6 eggs, 1/4 cup pepper, 1/4 cup feta, 2 tbsp onion, 3 tbsp sun dried tomatoes. Combine ingredients then place in 6 greased muffin tins and bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes.


4️⃣ 🍘OATMEAL BALLS
1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 cup oats, 1/3 cup seeds.
Place all ingredients in a bowl, mix and form into balls. Place in covered container and put in fridge for up to 1 week!


5️⃣🍧SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
Greek yogurt, milk, fruit, coconut, granola, nut butter and seeds is a delicious recipe high in protein 💪🏻
