Can you spot the real Taj Mahal Quartzite?
At first glance they may look similar, but the difference is all in the depth, translucency and natural movement.

One is engineered for consistency.
One is formed by nature over millions of years.

Which side would you choose for your space? 👇

Not all marble makes the same statement—and choosing the right one changes everything.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what you’re looking at:

Calacatta Viola & Calacatta Cielo Blu
Bold, high-contrast veining. These are statement stones—perfect when the table is the centerpiece. Expect movement, drama, and a more expressive interior.

Cloudy Marble
Soft, layered, almost painterly. This is for a calmer, more tonal space where texture matters more than contrast.

Salvia Marble
Muted green with fluid veining. Feels architectural, slightly unexpected, and works beautifully when you want color without going loud.

The mistake most people make?
Choosing based on the slab alone instead of the space it’s going into.

The right stone should match:
– how much contrast your interior already has
– how much attention you want the piece to draw
– how timeless vs. expressive you want it to feel

If you’re unsure which direction fits your space, that’s exactly where we guide you.

Most people choose stone based on what looks good.

That’s exactly why they end up choosing the wrong one.

Because marble, quartzite, and granite can look similar…
but they behave completely differently in real life.

Here’s what actually matters:

Marble is softer → it can stain and etch
Quartzite is stronger → better for daily use
Granite is the most durable → lowest maintenance

And then there are stones like onyx or travertine, which look incredible… but only work in the right setting.

The mistake isn’t choosing the “wrong” stone.
It’s choosing the wrong stone for your lifestyle.

If you cook a lot, host often, or want something stress-free → your choice should be different than someone designing a showpiece table.

That’s where most people go wrong.

At Empire Stone, we don’t just look at aesthetics.
We match the stone to how you actually live.

Because the right choice should still feel right 10 years from now.

Not sure what fits your space?
Send us a message — we’ll tell you exactly what works (and what to avoid).

From raw slab to finished table.

This Danish oval dining table is crafted from Taj Mahal quartzite, a natural stone known for its warm tones, durability, and timeless look.

Every piece starts with careful slab selection.
We plan the cuts to follow the natural veining, then precision water-jet cut the stone. After that, each piece is polished, finished, and assembled according to the client’s specifications.

No two slabs are the same.
No two tables are identical.

Natural stone. Made to order.
