2 of the money problems in the world are:

1. The problem of not having enough money

2. The problem of too much money.

Both the rich and the poor have money problems.

The money problem the poor have is not having enough money, while the money problem of the rich is too much money.

As a youth, we have a choice to choose which money problem we want as we grow.

Your choice will determine your actions.

If you choose to have the problem of too much money, remember that such a problem does not come instantly.

It takes time.

You have to delay gratification.

It will take a lot of learning and unlearning.

And in the end, if we will not quit, we will be glad we traveled the path less traveled.

learn skills

Back in 2020 during the lockdown, I was looking for a profitable skill to learn.

But when I observed around me, I saw that there were a lot of people who had skills and were still broke.

I had to take my time to make sure not to choose a wrong skill.

While searching for profitable skills to learn, here are the 2 costly mistakes I discovered people make when they want to learn skills.

1. They fail to learn high income skills: High income skills are skills that are in high demand, skills that pay very well.


Two of the examples of these skills are Copywriting and Facebook/Instagram advertising. There are a lot of them.

People make this mistake and this makes them stay broke even when they have skills or a skill.

2. They fail to learn skills that are location independent: Location independent skills are those skills that are relevant everywhere you go.

For instance, there are some skills that may only be relevant in portharcourt.

People who learn these skills will automatically go broke if they leave the location that the skills are relevant to.

Learning a location independent skill is one of the things you should consider when you want to acquire a skill.

3. They fail to seek to know how to market their skills. By marketing skill, it means to make people know what you are doing so they can patronize you for your skill.

You will agree with me that if you don't let people know that you have a particular skill, no one will patronize you.

So what most people do is to learn a skill and keep quiet about that skill.

Tell me, if you don't make people know about your skills, how will they patrinise you?

Thank God for this social media age that makes advertising very easy and cheap.

People can quickly advertise their skills and make a lot of money today.

One of the platforms you can advertise your skills are Facebook and Instagram because almost everyone who has a smartphone is on Facebook.

Whether you already have a skill, you can learn how to advertise on facebook and begin to make money almost immediately.

If you are selling goods, you can learn this skill to use it to attract more customers.

You can even learn this skill and offer it as a service to help people attract customers to their businesses and make money, as any business cannot survive without customers.

There are a lot of skills you can use your smartphone to learn that can fetch you some money even if you are currently working or not doing anything at all.

In this age of Internet, there are businesses that use video to advertise their products.

If you have a smart phone with good camera, you can use it to shoot videos and edit it for businesses and they will pay you for it.

Also, in this age, businesses are online and are looking forward to have more customers to buy their products.

If you know how to run Facebook/instagram ads, businesses will pay you to advertise for them and you will make your money just with your smartphone.

And If you have a small business, you can take it online and make more sales if you know how to run facebook/Instagram ads.

So if you have a smartphone good internet connection, you don't have to use it to have fun alone.
