I was telling someone the other day ,if your hair is strong 4C, please don’t sit in that salon chair without your spray bottle. Especially if you know your hair dries fast.

Reasons is because,

Most high-porosity 4C hair loses moisture quickly. So, while your stylist is still halfway through plaiting, your hair might already be dry, tight, and hard to manage again. Sometimes it even starts tangling and you are there wondering why it suddenly feels like wire.

But it is not a problem.
It is just your hair being your hair.

You see, the secret to natural hair is understanding it. Once you understand your hair, it becomes easier to love it. You’ll stop fighting it and start working with it.

So when you notice your hair drying up during styling, don’t panic , just spray.
That little bottle of water is your best friend. It softens your hair, makes it flexible, and helps your stylist handle it more gently.

That’s why I always say , go to the salon with your spray can.
Because sometimes, the difference between “ouch” and “ahhh” is just a few spray.
