I had a small shirt business some years ago that was lucrative and profitable but I could not grow and scale the business beyond a certain level because:

I lacked basic skills and knowledge to manage business finances.

Always mixing up my personal money with business money and spending same.

I did not keep proper records of the business activities..

I ended up losing the business money to some of the customers I sold to on credit...

as in some cases, the credit customers do argue over the amount owed.

I didn't know the exact quantity of shirts I had in the store per time as I didn't know how to manage business inventory.

Got to a point I struggled to pay store rent and salaries...

And guess what?
The business became a burden as I wasn't saving for growth, expansion or unforeseen circumstances...

and the business finally died .....

I had to go back to drawing board to find out what I did wrong and I realized that in as much as I was making sales daily, I was just hustling and not running a sustainable business.

Don't do the the mistakes I made ...
