Caring for your handmade crochet pieces keeps them looking beautiful for years! Here's a quick guide to gentle care using what most of us already have at home:

🧼 Hand Washing
1. Fill a basin with lukewarm water.
2. Add a small amount of mild detergent (like the one you use for delicate clothes).
3. Gently swish your crochet item—no rubbing or wringing.
4. Soak for 10–15 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
5. Press out excess water with your hands or a towel.

🌬️ Drying
1. Lay flat on a clean towel, roll it up, and press to absorb water.
2. Reshape your piece and lay it flat on a dry towel or rack.
3. Let it air dry completely—no hanging, no direct sun.
