Before the triplets embarked on the journey to the forest, Angelica have made herself known to both Ahamefule's family and Obioma's family.
Now, Obidiya is aware that her kids still breathes. Each passing day, she imagines having them by her side all day long. She can't wait to see them. But what she does not like is going back to the people that rejected her. It is really hard for her to forgive them, remembering the pain and agony they cost her. And ever since she and her husband left Umueke land, everything about them sounds like a fairy tale. To her, Umueke have become a history!.
But about her friend Obianuju, she, Obidiya will forever miss her and her family. She is quite sure they died in the attack launched against their village.
On the other hand, Obianuju after been told by Angelica all she needed to know about Obidiya and family including the triplets. She looks forward to see them one day and to reunite with them again till death.
🌞🌞 Obidiya's pov🌞🌞
It is early in the morning. I came out of the hut to see that the sun is smiling up in the sky, I smiled back at it.
Today is the proposed day to go visit the people of Umueke, the land I despise so much. Though, I never liked it when I met with onuowu Okonta in our market. I tried avoiding him but never knew he trailed me home.the next day he visited with Ichie Uchenna and Ichie odinaka.
I raved about in anger shouting on top of my voice as I rained series of abuses on them. My husband calmed me down but I angrily left them not wanting to here what they have to say.
Ahamfule attanded to the elders. I cried out my eyes remembering my forgetten past.
Later on, my husband Ahamfule told me of why the elders visited which infuriated me the but I had a change of mind when luckily Angelica visited as always. She told me that it would be a good chance for me to reunite with my children.

Angelica: for you to see your children again you willhave to grant the elders' request.
Obidiya: which of my children again?
I asked confused
Angelica: they triplets
Obidiya: huh?!?!?!😲😳

And finally the long awaited day is before me today staring at me.
I'm only doing this for my kids. I love them.
According to Angelica i and my husband would be going there around noon time when everyone might have gone to the market.
Before we go I would make sure things are inorder. That reminds me, where is Nchekube? Who knows if she still sleeping. That girl, she trying to become very lazy these days.
Obidiya: Nchekube! Nchekube!!
She responded but voice was inaudible. I went straight to her hut to wake her up.
☠️☠️ Ezenmuo's pov ☠️☠️
Ever since I returned back from Acharaike* forest, I made sure no one notices that I am around. Though it is obvious that everyone have forgotten about me since no one comes to my shrine again.
The monitoring pot of water have been of great help to me and I'm beginning to like it than to kill myself all in the name of getting a mysterious mirror. I now prefer the pot to the mirror.
I have been having a close eye on igwe' Lolo (Queen). There is no two ways about it that she would be delivered of twins, but I'm not too sure of their gender.
What makes me more excited is that the royal blood and uriangeli leaves 🌻 (sun fl🌻wer) missed together and I drink it, would exonerated me from being killed by who so ever thatgets the mirror.
I have already gathered the leaves for it is within my shrine.
I brought out the monitoring pot of water and invoked it, it came to live.

The village midwife was seen with her assistant and a maid with Lolo who is in labor.
Lolo: uhmmmmm !!! Ah ahhhh!!😩😩😩😩
She kept screaming. She was really in pains.
Midwife: pushhhh!! One more time. Push!!!
The baby came out. It was a baby boy. As the midwife was about to cut the umbilical cord she see the head of another baby.
The midwife and her assistant exchanged looks and they what the consequences is all about.
Midwife: go and call the igwe and tell him to come alone.
She ordered the palace maid and they found it as an opportunity to help Lolo deliver her second child in a way it would only be a royal secret.
When Igwe arrived he went straight to her wife but was shocked to see two kids.
Igwe: what is this?
He asked pointing at the twins.
Midwife: Igwe!! They are your sons.
He was dumbfounded that he couldn't say a word.
Igwe: I prayed for this all day, I keep asking the gods for a male issue and here I have double of what I wanted. How do I go about this now? I would have loved to keep them but please we really need to get rid of one and it must be a secret, a royal one for that matter.
Midwife: Igwe I would like to take one of them if only you would resolve this evil tradition.
Igwe: I will gladly do that as soon as this mess is cleared.

I and the midwife have already come in terms on how to execute our plan. She cleaned up the twins though Lolo have slept up already and it happens that she isn't aware that she gave birth to twins. And that is exactly what that made it so easy for me .
The midwife now carried the other baby properly wrapped in her arm and was ready to leave through the back door.
Igwe: I will name him Ikenna while his brother will be Ezenna. Please take care of him until I set things right. I will always send you anything you need.
Midwife: I will do everything within my power to make sure Ikenna is well taken care of.
"That is if he gets the chance to see the next day" the voice jolted us and we turned to see Ezenmuo.
Ezenmuo: nothing evil can be hidden from the gods. Now the child
Never,how can Ezenmuo evaporate and surface again only to ask for the life of my sons never.
Igwe: I will never allow that. Ezenmuo, where have you been when the people of Umueke were in distress?
Ezenmuo: I made it easy for you to still have a male issue by requesting for one of the twins to be sacrificed but you don't want it that way. I will take the two myself.
I became afraid. Before I could even say anything he had already taken the twins with his powers. He put them in a basket and disappeared.
Igwe: hey!!!
I shouted out of shock but when I remembered that my wife is still asleep I reduced my voice and sighed in total grief.
Midwife: Igwe please take it easy with yourself, if you should continue like this your health conditions may worsen.
Igwe: I'm totally finished 😭😭
Will this be the mode i will take and receive Obidiya and her family? So they will see me in the same condition I allowed them to be in some time?
🏃🏃 Augustine's pov🏃🏃
I and my siblings have arrived Umueke village. We are at the Ezenmuo's shrine to be precise.
We were patiently waiting in our hiding place when suddenly Ezenmuo appeared. He had a basket in his hands. He walked straight and kept the basket in front of his shrine before he went into his hut.
Without wasting time , I tiptoed to the basket and smartly carried it.
Few minutes later, Ezenmuo came out with his knife and a little pot in his hand. When he looked at his shrine he was shocked and began to look around for the basket. He looked more confused as ever, he then left the little pot and knife on floor right before his shrine. This greatest mistake ever. Augustina went immediately and carried the little pot. She opened it when she got to our hideout. We all shouted in shock.
Ezenmuo ran out of his hut immediately and he saw us with his items.
Ezenmuo: you?
He said pointing at us and I'm sure he recognized us. I exchanged the twins with the pot containing blood with Augustina.The three of us ran separate ways in our to confuse him as Angelica instructed us to do.
I ran as fast as I can because it seems that I was the Ezenmuo is running after.
That is were his life depends.
I immediately reached the palace and was surprised to see igwe with his quests but he was really sad, gladly Angelica is there too with Maureen, akunnaya, ijeoma, okwudiri and the rev. fathers Then Augustina ran in as well with the kids and ezenmuo appeared within seconds.
Angelica: break it!!
I did as I was told and the pot broke into pieces.
Ezenmuo: No!!!😭😭😭😭
He fell on his knees in tears.
Augustino ran in panting heavily. He came over to us gasping for air.
Ezenmuo: I will confess, please don't kill me. I will confess.
He shouted as he begged unseen person (s) for forgiveness.
Angelica: go ahead and confess.
🔛🔛 Epilogue 🔛🔛

Okoro was a very good and kind hearted man who was loved by all. He hardly quarrels with anyone. He was married with a daughter whom he loved so much. His wife died when his daughter was twelve. After the death of his wife he vowed never to take a second wife.
He did his best for his lovely daughter so she won't lack anything.
Okoro continued living his good life until when it was announced that he has been chosen to be the Ezenmuo of umueke land. He accepted with his pure heart to serve his people.
A night to his cleansing his daughter was murdered. The next day the news spread that the Ezenmuo's daughter have been killed by five youths. According to how the story went, it was said that okoro's daughter have a boyfriend. They two love each other but unknown to okoro's daughter, her boyfriend has another maiden he once promised of marriage. The maiden getting wind of their relationship ganged up with her friends and got her killed.
Okoro grieved while he waited for igwe omekannaya 5 to get the defaulters punished but he never did anything.
One day okoro went in to the forest to get some herbs to cure his sick patient when he made his first encounter with the goddess of the seven great mountains.
Queen goddess: Ezenmuo, your tears have reached the seven great rivers and the seven great mountains and also to me. You seek vengeance, I will help you with that if only you will serve me.
Ezenmuo: vengeance is of the gods. I'm only a mere mortal 🙏
He replied humbly.
Queen goddess: you are the gods, the gods is you. I will give you the powers you will need once you become my servant. I will give you life everlasting with great power. Be my servant.
Ezenmuo: with all pleasure.
From that day okoro's heart changed.. He became cruel. And has been the Ezenmuo till now yet no one has noticed it.

Ezenmuo: for the past six generations, I have been the Ezenmuo, all I did was only but to revenge for the pains umueke people caused me by sacrificing both the Virgin boys and girls and I also imposed the killing of baby more than one at a time. Please forgive me.
The palace was already filled up, how news spreads fast.
Ezenmuo was all tears now. As minutes pass he grew old. His hairs has turned grey and was emaciating badly. Minutes later he passed out.
Igwe ordered that his body be thrown into the evil forest.
Mother supreme descended with Angela and everyone bowed their heads. She smiled and then remembered when her sisters would have killed her if not that God Almighty that sent an angel to save her immediately her sisters left just to fulfill this wonderful deeds God has planned for. And due to this she was crowned MOTHER SUPREME.
Angelica walked to her mother and sister and the held hands . Looking at them one would think they are the blessed Trinity.
They ascended in cloud/heaven and everyone was waving at them until no one saw them again.
Meanwhile obidiya and family have reunited. From there and then everyone denounce their faith in fe**sh belief and turned to christ for their salvation.
With the help of the missionaries (fr.pius, Mathias and sis.pauline) a place a worship was contructed at Ezenmuo's shrine.
Life came back to normal and they lived happily ever after 🥰.
