As an established business person/ entrepreneur or a beginner in today's economy the biggest headache is finance. This prompted me to attend an event yesterday. Guess what it's about - "Grants". Or what some call free capital or loan without interest. Lol

Inauguration of God Is With Me Sunlight Model Microfinance Bank at St. Brigid Catholic church, Ijeshatedo, Surulere, Lagos- Nigeria. Set up by Sunlight city foundation (NGO). Founded by Rev. Sunday O.

In attendance were:
1. Representative of Oba of Benin; High Chief Omorodion The Otomoba of Benin Kingdom.
2. The mother of the former Governor of Lagos State; Mrs. Cecilia Fashola,
3. CEO of sunlight, Rev. Sunday O. who formed the foundation to alleviate poverty.
4. State Coordinator of the foundation.
5. Chief Mrs Yetunde babajide, Iyalaje of Ojodu Kingdom.
6. Christian Welfare Initiative NGO was represented by Pastor Ajibade.
7. Dominican center for human resources and development from Ibadan.

Several dignitaries were also in attendance.

Rev. Sunday (The CEO) stated the objectives of the Microfinance bank as follows: Turn our communities into mega cities and support the less privileged. Also he gave a talk on animal husbandry, production/ exportation of toothpicks, cocoa and chocolate production. Likewise how several countries worldwide have turned their economies around with these.

The highlight of his speech was the grant they will give to Nigerians to reduce the bite of the economy. He called it the Bottom up project strategy.

The Bottom up project strategy is a tool for Sunlight City Foundation to give grants to eradicate poverty. Bottom up means for the grassroots - those not remembered by d government. It's being coordinated by the Social Exchange Market (SEM) and given directly to NGOs.

The steps to get the grant are:
Registration, issuance of certificate, interview as to how you intend to spend the cash and disbursement.

An agribiz and health & wellness talk was held as well. To educate people that it's a business they can start also. The stars of the event was a physically challenged couple - eyesight wise- who are both business owners.

To make inquiries as regards purchasing the form to access the grant WhatsApp only 07030450743.

"Salary maintains poverty and business / investments eradicates poverty".

Please share this post as many times as you can so Nigerians can apply for this grant.

Do you know you are 405 times more likely to be struck by lightning than not lose customers to your staff/ competition when you aren’t performing as expected.

This is the experience era. People don’t just buy goods and services anymore they also buy experience.

Did you know you are 405 times more likely to be struck by lightning than not lose customers when you don’t perform as expected? Study shows that it is 5 to 25 times more expensive to acquire new customers than to retain new ones. So you may want to think twice before you lose customers.
