O'Eclat Designs (pronounced O-eyklah), is a Nigerian fashion and home accessories label birthed in 2010 by Gbemmy Johnson ,which locally produces beautifully handcrafted pieces with special focus on but not limited to handbags using leather, rich African prints and indigenous hand-woven fabric mixed with a contemporary edge. andcrafted and affordable fashion and home accessories from notepads to key wallets, purses, belts, cardholder, handbags, clutches, slippers etc. The label is influenced by African rich culture and vibrant colours, hence the use of rich African prints, leather and plethora of other materials with a contemporary edge. With inspiration drawn from everywhere, every piece is a unique, classic design made for fashion lovers of all ages. O'Eclat employs young skilled artisans and local weavers within the country who are unemployed and unable to set up their workshop due to inadequate funds by providing work-friendly workshop and pay them wages to ensure they are financially stable and also attract other artisans to the industry. This has helped us work closely with all members of our team and also keep to the brand philosophy of producing in very limited quantities to allow for a perfect individuality and style with key attention to details. Our vision is to become a unique socially-conscious fashion and home accessories brand by providing accessories which value longevity and individuality over the disposable.
