Autism Consultation came to an end yesterday and I am simply grateful for the opportunity to help and be a part of the pre-observation team. So many times during the 5 days, I wished I had a magic wand to wave to make it all better.
How do we care for persons with disabilities in Nigeria given the limitations of poverty, lack of awareness, poor social and educational services, lack of infrastructure and inadequate qualified professionals?
There is a lot to do...
There are so many things we take for granted in this life and sometimes you just need to be with other people to appreciate what you have.
Grateful for everyone I met, worked alongside and learnt from.
You are all awesome.
GTBank Autism Week may be over but the work continues. WE KEEP MOVING- FOR HUMANITY!
