My Dear compatriots,

This is not time to be watching:

Zee World,
Home Videos,
Football,

This is not the time for:

Point-and-kill fish,
Drinking out in the evenings

We are at War!

I suggest you devote more time for:

Intelligence Gathering,
Watching your steps,
Being more spiritual

And this is the time to suspect anything and everything.

Try to operate like the wind.

No more anything goes.

Change many things about you:

Avoid fixed routes.

* Your women friends could make you a soft Target.

*Avoid that your regular drinking joint

*Suspend free drinks and free offers.

*Lecture your wife, or husband and children about the period the dangerous times. Your family can be used as a ploy to track you down.

*Regulate your attendance to parties and owambes.

* Watch TV radio and be informed about your environment. Do not be cheap to get.

* Always have fuel in your car at home, especially at night for a quick getaway.

* Get phone numbers of your neighbours.
* Get a password codes between you and your spouse and kids. Like if you want your kids to run away, there should be a code you all understand that your attackers do not.

This is no time to be sitting on the wall. The times are strange and your security lies much more in your hand than in any Government or its agencies.

Just in..

The new General Inspector of Police has released his 12 point agenda for quick implementation:

1. Immediate dismantling of road blocks across the federation (You can still encourage officers with few Naira notes when you meet them on the road anyways.)

2. Immediate withdrawal of officers attached to private citizens (To open the space for private security companies to thrive).

3. Deduction of court awarded damages from the salary of any officer found to have abused human rights.

4. Immediate recruitment of 1,500 lawyers with litigation experience to be attached to each police division/area command. They are to give legal fervour to investigations, provide legal advice and serve as police prosecutors.

5. Procurement and installation of video recording facilities in all investigation rooms of the Force.

6. Building of new laboratories in 36 States and the FCT to analyze DNA, finger prints, blood samples, body fluids and so on.

7. Launching of Vehicle Procurement Scheme for police personnel in partnership with Innoson and PAN. (Officers to get a new car and pay off over ten-twenty years.)

8. Rapid rehabilitation and restructuring of Police Academies and curriculum.

9. Any interstate transfer of officers to be effected with provision of transport and accommodation allowance.

10. Provision of two pairs of uniform and boots for all personnel, annually.

*ARE YOU A LEADER ?*

*You are a leader to nurture great minds into fulfilling their destiny*
*Always work towards leadership status*

*A leader is a servant to all. If you don't have a heart to serve others without looking for reward, *you are not a leader*

*If you can't withstand criticism and you can't withstand and survive the havoc of hate speech, *you are not a leader .*

If you don't have the power of forgiving and forgetting, *you are not a leader.*

If you stop doing good because nobody recognizes your kind gesture, *you are not a leader*

If you see your followers making mistakes, but you keep quiet saying, "If they don't call me for advice, I will allow them learn by experience." Your attitude depicts that *you are not a leader*

Do you have the *Pull them Down syndrome?* When you see someone doing better than you, what do you do, encourage or pull them down?

*A genuine leader should not desire the downfall of his followers who are better than him*

If you close doors for your subordinates because you are afraid they will be far better than you, *you are not a leader*.

If you don't produce your kind. You are the only champion doing great and mighty things, *you are not a leader*.
*Never forget that every good leader must have a better successor*

As a leader, you must feed on knowledge. Don't be stagnant, improve yourself so you can make impact.

As a leader, be a ladder for others to climb to the top. Don't pull them down. Your desire should be to make your followers better than yourself.

Be humble, let them learn from your mistakes. Do not watch them grope in darkness when you can guide them as a light.

A leader should be compassionate. How can you be comfortable when your followers are living in abject poverty?

A leader should have the heart of a father. A father leads and ensures his family is safe. A good leader should provide for his own people sacrificially without using them for his personal agenda
