The news that gets in the news are the ones that fulfilled the agenda of those who controls the media! The one who is well informed is not the one who watches all the news but the one who through personal research and discoveries searches out the news that don't make it to the news! You should know by now that what makes it to the airwaves is as allowed by the editor!

The informed man is the one who knows about all the news that the editor didn't allow on air or in print, for far more events are changing our lives and our world daily that don't make it to mainstream media!

Over the years through hard-earned spend dollars, I have accessed, acquired, and obtain rights to over 2,000,000 books covering every aspect of human endeavor, covering almost every known author alive and almost every category of interest that books are written about. And with a heart to share these books at a reasonable amount, in fact, called it a ridiculous amount, I set up the GREAT EBOOKS Facebook platform. The initial offer was N1000 for 1000 ebooks from celebrated array and parade of some of the most accomplished Christian authors which are too numerous to mention here! A quick calculation will reveal 1 ebook priced at N1! Now one would think this is the deal of the decade! This should settle it! But how wrong I was, the offer and the sponsored AD drew a lot of interest and alongside drew some insults as well!

ISOLATION CAN BE A TIME OF REVELATION AND INFORMATION GATHERING!

It's no news that the world all over is on lockdown as the scourge of the coronavirus takes over the face of the earth. People who are not used to been home are now home, faced with many hours that many don't know what to do with. Many have complained of been bored. Here in Nigeria we just observed our first day at home, though we still have some form of movement. There are some that have however decided they will stay indoors. READING VS CHATTING

One of the most common excuses given by people who are not too disposed to ebooks and reading on their mobile is the excuse that they just don't feel reading on their androids like they feel when they carry a real printed book. That is understandable to a certain extent. It's like trying to read the Bible on your mobile too, there is a tendency to have distractions especially if your data connections are turned on.

There is always a flurry of messages that comes in as you attempt to do this: Facebook notifications, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, IMO, just name it. There are always 3-4 notifications per hour making sure that throughout the day your phone is always beeping with messages and notifications. Where then can one find the concentration required to read unless you turn off the mobile data? And this is the crux of the matter, how many can be disciplined enough to turn off their data and read? Gisting is easier than reading. It's easier to open our social media app than to open our ebook reader app! Chatting is easier than reading for most mobile users!

In this part of the world where we have been described as people that things can be hidden from, by hiding it in a book, it's even much more difficult for us to read. The advent of mobiles androids and internet has further reduced our inclination to read. The real paper books are all gathering dust on our libraries. Who has time for books again? We are in the days of social media and endless chatting and gisting and social media interaction, reading is been relegated to the background and threatened as a good habit.

The battle is between the urge to chat and the urge to read, some don't even have the later urge at all, to them mobile android is synonymous to social media and chatting. But their is much more to your androids than chatting. Our mobiles can both be used for chatting and reading. Many ebooks abound and at a cheaper rate. FOR THE LOVE OF E-BOOKS.

You will be the same person you are in the next 5 years except for two things the books you read and the people you meet. New information and new associations change our levels and result in life. The wise one therefore always seeks the opportunity to read new books and cultivate new and great relationships! The advent of the internet has made it even easier to cultivate new relationships, thanks to the rise of social media usage. But that is not where it all ends, the advent of e-books has made it easy for anyone and everyone to carry a mobile library everywhere they go.
