And for this weekend, we present some tips on how to prevent the chipping or breaking of your porcelain.

Here's how to care for them:
• keep your breakables away from shelf edges
• place or stack them firmly into racks or storage places so they won't be dislodged.
• don't let them roll around in the drawer
• endeavour to hold the handles of mugs, not their sides. It could easily slip from your hands.
• do not heat or cool glassware unless it's designed for such purposes.
• if you must subject them to heat or cold, avoid sudden temperature changes. That is, don't take your bowl from the refrigerator straight to the oven. 😨
• carry them with both hands, with one hand positioned under the porcelain for support. 🤭
• when handling hot bowls, use gloves. 🧤
• you really shouldn't handle them with wet hands.
• please don't allow the kids handle them.

When it comes to knives, we do not want to learn from experience. So here's a few tips of keeping safe when handling knives in the kitchen

• Don't handle a knife with wet hands. You don't want it slipping.
• When cutting, direct the strokes away from your body.
• Don't leave them soaking in water. You may forget there's a knife in there, dip your hand and get cut. So just wash them quickly and store away.
• Please don't leave them lying loosely around. Children could get attracted and harm themselves.
• Store your knives on a magnetic strip or a knife block. And keep that block away from table edges. They could topple over.
• As a general rule: please keep them out of the reach of children.
