My All Time Gentle Advice For You
1. Talk Less. There’s a quiet kind of power that comes from not explaining too much. Speak only when it adds value, silence has its own way of commanding respect, and adding to your sense of mystery.
2. Move Slowly, Be Calm. Rushing doesn’t always mean progress. Many of the answers you’re chasing will meet you when you slow down and breathe.
3. Value People’s Time. Don’t keep people waiting. When you respect people's time they'll respect yours as well, get things done on time, don't be late for appointments and bring up necessary issues fast. Respecting time, yours and others’ is one of the simplest ways to show class.
4. Never Badmouth Anyone. Whether it’s in a professional or social setting, it’s not appropriate to bad mouth people. You certainly will not earn any respect by doing this. You don’t rise by pulling others down, if something bothers you, address it directly not through whispers or complaints.
5. Stop Apologizing For Existing. “Sorry” should mean something. Use it when you truly need to, not as a reflex. There’s dignity in standing tall.
6. Be Kind, Not A People-Pleaser. You owe everyone respect, not access. Trying to make everyone happy won’t get you very far, being a pushover is highly undesirable. Learn to do good without losing yourself in the process.
7. Be Yourself. Authenticity is magnetic. Pretending to be someone else only delays the people and opportunities meant for the real you.
8. Guard Your Emotions. Not everything deserves your reaction. Sometimes, maturity is choosing peace over the need to prove a point.
9. Boundaries are not rudeness; they’re self-respect in practice. You don't have to agree to everything that's asked of you, you can decline without guilt.
10. Respect Yourself. Don’t wait for others to give you the validation you deny yourself. The world mirrors how you treat you.
11. Respect Others Too. Treat people with decency, not because of who they are, but because of who you are.
12. Don’t Go Where You’re Not Invited. And when invited, don’t overstay your welcome. Grace knows when to arrive and when to leave.
13. Think Before You Speak. Words build or break perception. Always weigh them before you release them.
14. Be Diligent. Whatever your hands find to do, do it with care and consistency. Excellence still speaks the loudest.
walk gently but with intention. Let your presence carry peace, not pressure.
