NIGERIAN YOUTH LIVES MATTER!
From my sleep I woke
To the knowledge that my fellow youths
Are WOKE!
To the brutalities and killings
By the uninformed uniform men
Of the SARS,
Clouding everywhere like the air filled with smoke,
Hanging around the necks of the Nigerian youths as a yoke.
It doesn't matter if you are rich or broke
As long as you look like a bloke
They keep harrassing us
And riding us like a doke!
From our necks, Sarz release your choke!
End Sarz now!
Nigerian youths lives matter!
Season to season
Our lives have being taken
For no reason
And so many unjustly imprisoned
Yet, the government turned deaf ears
To our screams
Inspite of the dastardly acts of the SARS
Making headlines in the news from our screens.
Mothers are weeping
Brothers are wailing
Fathers are mourning
The sudden and unjustified killings
Of their loved ones,
Our fellow citizens
End Sarz!
