THE HOLY SPIRIT.
The Holy Spirit in the old testament.
Judges 14:6
"Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and although he had nothing in his hand, he tore the lion in pieces as one tears a young goat. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done." (ESV)

In the old testament, the Holy Spirit came upon certain men to stir them up to complete a task given.
In old testament, Jesus Christ was not yet made manifest the reason why the Spirit was not given to everyone.

Samson in his blindness, the Spirit came upon him and he killed a number of Philistines more than before, God told Moses to lay hands on Joshua because the Spirit was on him.

The Holy Spirit in the old testament, gave power and abilities to certain men to accomplish tasks given to them.

The Spirit was a visitor in the old testament, He could come and after finishing the assignment then He leaves.

The Holy Spirit in the old testament, was the knowledge of prophecy, He came on the prophets so as to enable them to prophecy. 2Samuel 23:2

Hallelujah!!! The Holy Spirit is nolonger a visitor to us, but He is part of our being, He is permanent in us because Jesus has been made manifest.

Lord i pray that I will be able to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life deeper and deeper in every moment of my life.

As a man you wouldn't want to *INVEST* where you will loose;
how much more God?

Any FIRE you receive when you're still carrying a *WET WOOD* can never last last.

If you're a *WET WOOD* , the devil will never stop you from receiving fire because he knows the fire cannot last.

So the Major reason kept *WAITING* for the Apostles before sending Holy Ghost & fire was that He wanted them to become DRY.

I Know that if the day of PENTECOST had come & the Apostles weren't *DRY* yet, God wouldn't have *sent* the Holy Ghost & fire to them.

How long you will *BURN* isn't in amount of FIRE that comes upon you but it's in how much you become *DRY*.

It wasn't the DAY of PENTECOST that determined the fire that came upon them at the UPPER ROOM, it was their *DRINESS* that did.

God will never *INVEST* a GENERATIONAL FIRE in a *WET WOOD,* so any fire you receive when you're still WET can't last long.

Show me how long you *BURN* & I will show you the level of your DRINESS.

I see fire everywhere 🔥

Avoid the Trap of Fear

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. (Proverbs 29:25, NIV)

Fear is one of the enemy’s favorite tools to keep us from going forward. As soon as we make a decision to step out in faith, immediately, the enemy will bring fear to stop us. He’ll put thoughts in your mind like, “What if I fail? What will others think? Maybe I don’t have what it takes.” He’ll do his best to use fear to try to convince you to shrink back and just stay right where you are.

The Bible tells us that fear is a spirit. It affects your emotions. But when you choose to put your trust in the Lord, no matter how you are feeling, you are combating fear.

Today, don’t allow fear to trap you and hold you back. Instead, take a step of faith knowing that God is on your side. He is for you and with you, leading and guiding you in the path of victory all the days of your life.

Father, I choose to put my trust in You. I press forward in faith so I can overcome fear. I believe You have my best interest at heart and know that You are leading me in the paths of righteousness all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen
