Taiwo was a curious fellow but never liked reading books. One day, he found a mysterious, dusty book in his attic labeled "How to Speak Fluent Dolphin." Thinking it was a joke, Taiwo tossed it aside. Fast forward to a beach party where Taiwo tried impressing everyone with his "ocean knowledge," only to discover that his new friends were dolphins!

The dolphins looked at Taiwo with blank stares as he floundered, trying to communicate with a series of awkward splashes and squeaks. His friends, amused, explained that if Taiwo had read that book, he might have had a conversation with them instead of an embarrassing splash fest.

Moral of the story? Don't skip reading—you never know when you'll need to talk to dolphins!

I was recently asked what advice I would give to young people who want to make a positive impact on the world. It made me think a lot about what I would tell my younger self. I remember this guy. A lot has changed since this photo, but I remember how excited I felt for the next chapter. My advice is simple: Read a lot and discover a skill you enjoy. For some, that means being great at science or a great communicator. There’s so much opportunity to do good in the world.
