We would like to inform all clients using Bose SoundTouch systems that Bose has recently released a final update to the SoundTouch app.
As part of this update:
- The SoundTouch app no longer relies on Bose cloud services.
- Unfortunately, Music Services and Presets, including TuneIn internet radio functionality, are no longer supported within the SoundTouch app.
-Systems connected to your Wi-Fi network will still appear in the app and can still be used for:
• Basic playback
• Multi-room grouping
• Remote control
• Wi-Fi setup and configuration
This change was made directly by Bose and affects SoundTouch users worldwide.
Please note:
- Existing SoundTouch speakers and amplifiers will continue to function for supported playback methods.
-Some streaming and radio services may no longer be available through the SoundTouch platform.
- This is not caused by your internet connection or a fault with your Bose system.
