What a weekend! NAPRA Championships hosted at World Cup Standards. It was a very tough course of fire laid out by MD's Keiran Mans for Saturday and Dirk Sauber for Sunday testing shooters to the extreme. The results speak for themselves with the Namibian shooters doing exceptionally well and taking the 1st 7 spots in the IPRF/Open class and all being built by Venzke Shooting Supplies CC !!! The spoils were taken by Dirk in a close fought match with Janus Van Der Merwe and Liebies Liebenberg tied on points but separated by a mere 20 seconds. In the overall year rankings a mere 0.6% separated 1st and 2nd with Dirk taking it over Keiran. Amazing shooting guys!! Also a great show for the year by Michael Barlow ending up in 3rd overall, one to keep eye out for the 2024 WC!!!

Often clients ask why they should build a custom rifle, just buy one from a gun store, they shoot just as accurate? Many times a client may wish to buy a calibre not on offer by the companies such as the latest and popular PRS calibre, the 6GT. In most cases however it is the level of detail, consistency, personalization and satisfaction of getting a rifle fit to the shooter's needs. The 2 videos show the clear difference when using a gunsmith to build your rifle where time and attention to detail is of the essence versus buying a rifle that was built in mass, not taking anything away from them.

Video 1 - Custom build using the highest quality reamers with high quality barrels and taking all the extra steps to perform the highest quality of finishes.

Video 2 - Mass manufacturing ( still sufficient for normal use and acceptable accuracy)

Very important....... please do not use a borescope and determine that there is something wrong with your barrel before speaking to your gunsmith and having him take the time to explain what you are seeing and if that has any effect on your rifle.

To say we are proud of the achievements of these 3 athletes would be an understatement, we are extremely humbled as well...

To say we are proud of the achievements of these 3 athletes would be an understatement, we are extremely humbled as well that we could be associated with them. They travelled to Italy for the Kahles DLR European Finals and managed a top 10 finish for all 3 with Janus Van Der Merwe getting 3rd place and Dirk Sauber bagging the spoils with the overall win. Well done guys!!! Next big events coming up is the 21/22 October shoot in Windhoek.
