Description
The Jetty-was born in Swakopmund in the year 2000. It originated at the Ankerplatz in a garage which was converted into a shop with a jetty structure build onto the front of the shop. Hence the name THE JETTY. With time, the shop has extended the range of seaside décor and gifts to include furniture, clothing and nautical brass. Now situated in the heart of Swakopmund in Hendrik Witboo
i street and a new branch has opened at the LIfestyle Centre in the New Industrial Area of Swakopmund, showcasing a larger range and variety of products. The Jetty offers its' customers a choice of furniture from sleek clean cut lines for the upmarket beach house or the simple effective white range and then of course the shabby chic range for that lived in look. Shabby Chic furniture is made from recycled wood so no two pieces are ever alike. All the furniture is relaxed, fresh, easy, practical, comfortable and fun. It heightens a carefree attitude and sense of wellbeing allowing you to create the holiday feeling of being at the seashore in your day to day living environment. As the pace of life increases it becomes more essential for people to create a relaxing home environment. And this is what beach style décor and furnishings instill. Matt, chalky seascape colours as well as uneven surfaces and distressed patterns are what you will find in beach house style. Being at a coastal holiday town, like Swakopmund it is almost imperative that there should be a shop selling beach furniture and décor, and there is!!!
