Die Muschel - Book & Art DIE MUSCHEL, established in 1985, is located in the heart of Swakopmund, Namibia, on the western corner of the Brauhaus Arcade.

DIE MUSCHEL in Swakopmund, is one of Namibia's largest book stores, offering a wide variety of books, newspapers, and other publications for all ages in numerous languages, amongst them in German, English, and Afrikaans. Titles not found on our large stock, may be ordered, - also from overseas publishers -, and are usually ready for collection by or shipment to customers within 2-3 weeks. DIE MUSC

HEL also specialises in promoting and selling unique, original art works from well-known African and European artists, with changing dedicated exhibitions taking place about twice every year. Next to this, art enthusiasts find particularly impressive works of lesser known artists in our shop, sourced internationally. Each of these pieces makes a bold statement for its quality and choice of subject matter. We also stock calendars, gifts, and a variety of authentic African art that will delight local customers and foreign visitors alike.
