As much as we try to plan, sometimes things don’t go as expected—but that also opens the door for fresh starts. Instead of returning bigger, I’ve decided to come back smaller, much like how I first started. I’m focusing on simplicity and keeping things manageable while still sharing my love for books. Dear followers and valued customers,

I am writing to inform you that my online bookshop will be on hiatus as I undergo significant changes to our workflow system. This process, a necessary cost-cutting measure, involves starting from scratch and figuring out how I want to move forward from here.

To give myself ample time to make these changes, I will be halting all business activities starting 1 August 2024, and our online store (www.thesleepycatbookshop.com) will also be deactivated during this period. I anticipate this hiatus will last between 3 to 4 weeks, depending on how smoothly the transition goes. I will keep you updated on our progress and the exact date of our return.

On that note, if you have any pending orders, I sincerely hope we can proceed to complete all orders and have them shipped before going on hiatus.
