PITABERRY SDN BHD, Malaysia’s most innovative FMCG company, was established in year 2003, and is engaged in the production and marketing F & B products. PITABERRY started business by planting and selling fresh dragon fruits for domestic market consumption. PITABERRY has undertaken research and came up with dragon fruit based products and became Malaysia Premier Dragon Fruit Health Drinks producer.
The dragon fruit drinks are Pinkberry (red flesh) and Iceberry (white flesh) under the brand name “PITABERRY ". This drink was launched by former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on 10th May 2007 in MIHAS, KLCC. At the same time, our company has been awarded as the "Most Promising Entrepreneur MIHAS 2007". Dragon fruit drink has got a good response from overseas markets and the Local Economy. Since the 9th Malaysian Plan, the government has declared the seaweed industry as the 'high impact' industry. As the seaweed industry is an economic resource that can help fishermen improve their socio-economic status, agencies under the MOA are actively involve in seaweed cultivation. In line with the direction of the Government to transform the seaweed industry to high-yielding industrial and commercial scale, our company has expanded its business to the wholesaler and distributor of seaweed under the brand name "Algold" Seaweed. In addition, our company had launched a brand new seaweed based products, “Windz” Fruity Algold Seaweed Drinks, by our Prime Minister YAB Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak Najib at MAHA 2010 on 27th November 2011. On 3rd April 2013, our new product “WindzPlus” Fruity Algold Seaweed Nata De CoCo has been launched by Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia, YB Dato’ Mukhriz Tun Mahathir at MIHAS in KLCC. During MAHA 2014, our new products VitaminPlus Vitamin C Drinks was officially launched by Minister of Agriculture & Agro Based Industry Malaysia, YB Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob. Through continuous improvement and creative innovation, PITABERRY strives for highest quality and assures all products fulfill HALAL requirement and cater to customers’ needs. Our HACCP standard products are also awarded “1 Malaysia Best” by MOA. Our products are now available in hypermarket i.e AEON BIG, Jusco, and etc. In addition, products also have been distributed to cafeteria, schools, institutions, wholesalers and retailers in Malaysia. Our products also exported to other country such as Brunei, China, Singapore, United Kingdom, Vietnam and will expand our business to the other Asean countries.
