A longer press on the power button turns the scooter on or off. When the scooter is on, a short press turns the lights on or off.
Pressing it quickly twice toggles between the 3 speed modes:

- pedestrian, 5 kmh / 3 mph
- standard, 20 kmh / 12.4 mph
- sport, 25 kmh / 15.5 mph

The right thumb-throttle accelerates the scooter. The left handlebar hosts the brake lever, and also has the bell, which is loud enough for pedestrians to hear it. Pretty standard stuff.
