Peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj berlaku pada malam Isnin, 27 Rejab, kira-kira 18 bulan sebelum hijrah.

Hari ini disambut oleh orang Islam di Malaysia bagi memperingati peristiwa yang sangat luarbiasa yang telah dilalui Rasulullah s.a.w. pada tahun ke-11 kerasulan Baginda.

Antara peristiwa penting dalam Israk dan Mikraj adalah perintah kewajipan solat fardu lima waktu sehari semalam ke atas orang Islam.

Tema "Wilayah Madani, Rakyat Harmoni" diangkat bagi Sambutan Hari Wilayah Persekutuan pada tahun ini. Sambutan tahun ini juga sempena 50 tahun Kuala Lumpur diisytiharkan sebagai Wilayah Persekutuan pada 1 Februari 1974.

Bulan Rejab, bulan haram yang penuh berkah.

Telah sampai kepada kami khabar bahawa doa itu mustajab pada 5 malam.

1. Malam Jumaat
2. Malam Raya Aidil Adha
3. Malam Rava Aidil Fitri
4. Malam Pertama Rejab
5. Malam Nisfu Sya’aban

Disunnahkan juga untuk membaca doa:
“Allahumma baariklana fi rajabi wasya’ban wa ballighna ramadan.”

Maksudnya: Ya Allah, Berkatkanlah kami pada bulan Rejab dan Sya’ban dan sampaikanlah kami ke bulan Ramadan (HR Baihaqi).

Semoga ALLAH maqbulkan setiap doa dan hajat kita Inshallah.

Maal Hijrah is an important date for Muslims as it is the occurrence of an Islamic historical event that commemorates the migration of Prophet Muhammad from the city of Makkah to Medina in the year 622 AD. This event occurred on1st of Muharram and was taken as the beginning of the countdown for the Hijrah calendar.

Our heartiest wishes to all Muslims a Salam Maal Hijrah. May Allah forgive all our past wrongdoings and accept our repentance. May the year ahead be showered with blessings, peace and wisdom.

Dah bertahun kita meraikan Hari Raya Aidil Adha tapi mesti ada yang tak tahu tentang beberapa fakta hari raya kan.

Tahukah anda?
1. Takbir raya bermula apabila Rasullah S.A.W melafazkannya selepas menang perang Badar. Peperangan Badar berlaku pada 17 Ramadan tahun pertama Hijrah dan dalam perang itu juga Abu Lahab telah terkoban.

2. Waktu takbir berbeza bagi Aidilfitri & Aidiladha.
Raya Aidilfitri, takbir dialunkan setelah terbenam matahari pada hari terakhir Ramadan hingga selesai solat sunat Hari Raya.

Manakala untuk hari raya Aidiladha p**a, takbir dialunkan pada petang hari Arafah (9 Dzulhijjah) dan hari-hari Tasyriq (10 hingga 13 Dzulhijjah).

3. Perkataan A'id ada maksud tersendiri iaitu berasal dari perkataan Al-Aud yang bermaksud kembali. Jadi kita semua menantikan hari raya Aidlfitri dan menyambutnya pada setiap tahun.

Reflecting on the blessings of the day of Arafah, it is the day of goodness.
The prophet explained the significance of the first ten days of Zulhijjah in a hadith,

“No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Zulhijjah).” Then, some companions of the Prophet said, “Not even Jihad?” He replied, “Not even Jihad, except that of a man who risks himself and his property (for Allah’s sake) and does not bring anything back.”

(Sahih Al-Bukhari)
