THIS WEEK RECIPE: FRIED 'HOR FUN'
YOU NEED:
500 gm 'hor fun'
200 gm bean sprout (remove both ends, we call this 'yin ya' means
silver sprout)
SEASONING:
1/2 tsp fine salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp sesame oil

INGREDIENT B
SEASONING FOR BEAN SPROUT
1/2 tsp fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp sesame oil

METHOD:
1) Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil, add in 'hor fun', use a pair of chopstick quickly toss the 'hor fun' till it is slightly brown (approx. 8 min). If you want to show your skill then go ahead 'pow wok'

METHOD:
2) Heat another 1 tbsp cooking oil, fragrant chopped garlic, add in bean sprout and seasoning (do not over fry the sprout)

3) Add in the fried 'hor fun' toss evenly and your 'hor fun' is ready to serve.

TIPS:
'Hor fun' are thicker and wider then 'kueh tiao'
Do not rinse it, as it will stick together
To have tasty 'hor fun' you must use high flame and try not to over fry it, good to fry it not more than 8 min...
