Jarco.my provides handcrafted glass jars and bottles. Jarco.my is a combination of the words “jar” and “deco”. All her media are from Italy. Be patient.

The word refers to handcrafted glass jars and bottles by Megan. How Jarco.my started:
Jarco.my started during the COVID19 pandemic. Megan, an art teacher, had to stop work as she has to take care of her son, a special needs child, at home. With no income as a housewife, she puts her skill into creating handcrafted glass jars, hoping to generate some income to support her mum's living expenses and

medication, who is a dementia patient. Though Megan was struggling to balance between her son and her mum’s needs, she believes even during tough times like this, there is still hope and a time to smile. She came up with the tag line “There is always a reason to smile” for Jarco.my, hoping to bring a smile and hope with her handcrafted glass jars to those who are struggling and suffering. Determination:
For safety reasons, Megan is determined to use only water soluble paint. She uses (Fleur Paint) which has a very low VOC emission. It’s safe for even children to use as hand painting. She sterilises all the glass jars and bottles before painting and decorating them. This is to ensure the hygiene of the glass jars and bottles so that they are always safe to store food. Goal of Jarco.my
To create a smile and motivate others to go on when they are facing difficulties. To be able to contribute to society by creating a meaningful gift and deliver a positive message to them. Jarco.my’s message to those who have special needs children:
Be persistent. Be positive. Hope is always there so long as we put in effort and don’t give up.

Wishing all of you here, Happy Chinese New Year!
Did you have a blast and harmonious Reunion Dinner with your family?
We really had a blast Dinner because too many fireworks around our area and my son was super excited.

Tomorrow is the first day of Chinese New Year (cho yat). Keep smiling all day long and may many many Ong Ong come to you. Huat Ahh!

I added some lanterns and background into it and I think it's a lovely house to share it with all of you as most of you must be heading back home for a Reunion Dinner with your family this week.

Big Big thanks to those who bought our CNY gifts. Some of you carried our gifts back to your hometown and all the way to East Malaysia, luckily I wrapped everything up in Kraft boxes for the customers to avoid any breakage. Xie Xie for the support!!!🥳

We were jammed all the way from Bandar Utama until our house on Friday. We had to get the cookies from the baker. It was 2-3 hours jammed and these two persons, my mum and my son didn't complain at all. Mum even said luckily her cucu already eaten a bread. 😅

I'm very thankful to two of you for following me around to get the cookies and to deliver the gifts to the customers.

One special needs, one Dementia, I can't leave both of you at home. My only choice is to bring both of you along. I'm very sorry to both of you about this. Both of you are my inspiration in my work. Through out this journey, we are together through thick and thin.

Lesson 1: Must cherish every moment we have now. 😇

Lesson 2: No matter good or bad, there's always a reason to smile. 🙂
