Mixing chiffon batter always starts off looking slightly chaotic. Bowls everywhere, alternating vanilla and chocolate batter, trying not to overmix while convincing yourself everything is under control. 😌

But the final part is my favourite.

Spreading the batter evenly across the tray before baking is strangely satisfying. The smooth swirls, leveling the surface, fixing the corners a bit… tiny kitchen therapy moment honestly.

This batch is vanilla & chocolate chiffon, simple classic combination that somehow never gets old.

Always enjoy folding chiffon batter because it feels like clouds… but the edible kind hehe ☁️😂

Assembling choux au craquelin always feels a bit like a tiny dessert production line. Pipe filling, close the shells, finishing touches, pack nicely, repeat until brain becomes cream puff also. 😌

This batch has:
🖤 Black Sesame Coconut
❤️ Raspberry
🤍 Classic Vanilla
☕ Tiramisu

Probably one of my favourite desserts to make because the contrast is so nice. Thin crisp shell outside, soft creamy filling inside.

Also one of the desserts that looks “small and simple” but somehow involves so many steps behind the scenes. Craquelin, choux shell, fillings, assembly, packing… one tray can already consume half the day 😂

Anyway, just a small reel of assembly process before these little cream puffs disappear into boxes.

Father’s Day Special: Raspberry 70% Belgian Chocolate Basque 🍫❤️

For the chocolate lovers, this one is intense in the best way possible.

The bottom layer is a rich 70% Belgian chocolate basque cheesecake. Deep chocolate flavour, rich & creamy

In the middle is a raspberry mousse layer that adds a tangy contrast to balance out the richness of the chocolate.

Then finished with a thin layer of chocolate ganache on top because apparently we decided moderation was not part of the plan. 😌🍫

The raspberry really helps cut through the richness, so the whole cake feels more balanced instead of overly heavy.

This reel is just me unmoulding the cake, cutting it in half, and showing the layers inside because honestly the cross section deserves screen time too.

Father’s Day Special: Tiramisu Basque ☕🍰

Decided to split the basque reels into two because both flavours deserve their own main character moment 😌

This one is our Tiramisu Basque.

The base is a vanilla basque cheesecake made using real vanilla pod, giving a subtle vanilla aroma with every bite

In the middle is a layer of homemade sponge fingers soaked in coffee for that proper tiramisu feel. Yes, homemade again because apparently I enjoy giving myself extra work voluntarily. 🤡☕

Then comes the tiramisu mousse layer, finished with a generous dusting of cocoa powder like a classic tiramisu.

Creamy, soft, slightly bitter from the cocoa and coffee, and definitely capable of giving you a small caffeine personality boost halfway through dessert.

This reel is basically me unmoulding the cake, cutting it open, and exposing all the layers like a dessert anatomy lesson.

Quick sneak peek from the kitchen — cakes are being cut, styled, and taste-tested as we prep for the Father’s Day set.

Everything is still in progress, and yes… it got slightly delayed because a few batches didn’t make the cut. Just wasn’t right yet, so back to the oven we went 🔁

Photoshoot is ongoing, taste testing is also tasting😆
