Mixing chiffon batter always starts off looking slightly chaotic. Bowls everywhere, alternating vanilla and chocolate batter, trying not to overmix while convincing yourself everything is under control. 😌
But the final part is my favourite.
Spreading the batter evenly across the tray before baking is strangely satisfying. The smooth swirls, leveling the surface, fixing the corners a bit… tiny kitchen therapy moment honestly.
This batch is vanilla & chocolate chiffon, simple classic combination that somehow never gets old.
Always enjoy folding chiffon batter because it feels like clouds… but the edible kind hehe ☁️😂
