It is important for your child to get hooked on real life experiences. You have a choice, the dopamine hit from a fishing game on screen or fishing with us for a healthy and natural source of dopamine.

We get them out, off their devices, interacting with each other, supporting each other and fishing ethically. The smiles we see on our sessions is something you do not get from behind a digital screen.

This video showcases the fourth lesson of our Beginner Sport Fishing course. Young anglers must complete the course before they can sign on for the intermediate class and move on to advance if they pass the tests (they all do 😊). It’s not just fishing ethically, it’s also ensuring the sport and future of our Ocean is protected.

It has been a busy start to the year for us but a delight jumping straight into tours and training sessions. Bigger groups allow children to interact and make new friends as they cheer each other on to land that sneaky Grouper or acrobatic Barramundi. We have a lot of fun sharing and seeing how over the years, the reasons why families fish with us changes as times change, we started with children being hooked on River Monsters on TV and today, YouTube content from channels like Outdoor Boys… whatever the inspiration, we are glad to be here to bring that experience to life for your family.

There is nothing quite like the adrenaline and joy that takes over when you reel in, land that fish, admire it then release it back safely; and that is something nothing behind a screen can evoke. Fishing after all is a natural source of dopamine for the family and a great way to build memories. By the second half of 2025, our sessions were being booked out within 48 hours of opening up a date. Therefore we had to grow our group sizes and take on more than just one tour in a day. We didn’t mind it of course… and we made an observation… as much as we love fishing with families, there was something special about parents that put together fishing trips for their children and friends. When kids experience fishing with their friends, it creates a bond that is endearing to watch. They support each other, cheer each other on, compete playfully and when the fish takes a break from biting, the kids move on to discuss fish species, the ocean, share snacks and so much more. It’s lovely to see their friendship evolve through an activity in nature and not just digital trends.

We are thankful for the opportunity to provide this experience and feel honoured that we get to observe friendships that shape an important part of childhood. It warms our hearts!

Of course, bigger group means more fish! And the big fishes did not want to miss out on all the fun either. Have a look at how everyone did!

Yes it is true, we are VERY behind with our Social Media updates but we can’t help it… we have been having too much fun fishing with great families this New Year!

We are back on track and sharing all the trip we had just before we closed 2025!

Here’s one where the fishing was very tough, continuous rainfall the night before resulted in a change of water quality and very shy fishes. We tried, and tried, and some great Groupers and Barramundi eventually came out to play with us. On sessions like this, we are thankful for such patient families that do not give up and trust us to get them that bite!

We came back on Monday and received all your enquiries via WhatsApp! We thank you so much for considering our tours for your family in 2026. As there is quite a number of enquiries and we go down the line to reply to everyone, we have set a target to get back on track by tomorrow (Friday, 9th January) to be able to respond at our usual rate.

We have indeed grown our team and even then, our January dates are full with February filling up fast. We are absolutely humbled by how many of you are giving us a chance and wanting to fish with us.

We appreciate all of you and we look forward to another spectacular year of fishing with amazing families in 2026! So what are you waiting for? Fish with us!

It has been awhile since we have updated our blog but bringing the year to a close and staying true to our ethical values as a company, we feel it’s important to share both the good and the bad with you.

On this entry, we close the year with 97% happy customers and 3% angry ones. If you have followed us throughout the years, you will know that our company is data driven- from the number of fish we catch and release to the total number of people we have fished with every year; we track it all.

Tracking allows us to improve and see where we may have fall short. This time however, we will not be making any changes to address the 3%.

Why not? Have a read of our blog to understand what happens behind the scenes before you fish with us. A post that allows us to highlight and also appreciate the people that ensures you get to fish with us; for the most part, an appreciation of Andrew, who has tirelessly answered all your questions and confirms your bookings.

Your World Record submission is supremely important to us. Over the years, we have tried creative ways of reducing the weight for a more affordable shipping cost from Malaysia to USA; yes, the Boga Grip has got quite a weight added on to it!

Today, it’s thinner but secured boxes, cling wrapped so it can withstand any possible weather changes crossing Asia and taped well to hold it all together. A submission that would cost you almost RM300 in shipping is now less than RM200.

Our cost? Zero.

All transactions for your world record submission has receipts of shipping and tracking shared directly with you; as proof that our work to support your IGFA efforts remain strictly non-profit.

Yes, we don’t charge you for the packing materials either. In fact, our IGFA Representative personally goes through your photos, videos and prepares everything necessary, including your forms, as you sit to observe and learn about the submission process.

We hope, many more Malaysians will get comfortable, attempt and submit the application for an IGFA World Record.

Yes, you can fish in fishing ponds all by yourself. Why book a tour with us?

Well, because we get you that experience in less than 2 hours, ethically. The fish is cared for, you are cared for, your family is cared for… with gears you can trust (not some rusty junk for rent!). More than that, we’ve spent years understanding how fishing ponds operate and have built a great relationship with the ones that we work closely together with, so they understand that what we offer is more than just fishing for families, it’s memories to look back on for a lifetime. Of course, you get to also fish with our founder, Shamin, who is an International Game Fish Association Representative; doing more than just fishing with families every weekend.

Our beginner Young Anglers Membership (YAM) sign-ups will close on the 1st of December. We have had a lot of keen families and we have taken your feedback seriously, therefore, our team is currently working on transport options for your family on Saturday mornings, to make the entire process comfortable for you to fish with us. But what happens after the beginner session?

Well, we get independent anglers ready for the next stage, the Intermediate session, where the gears, fish and experience gets MUCH bigger, heavier and some sessions require MORE patience. Don’t take our word for it… have a look at our intermediate session in photos below, where our young anglers and their family are trained on catching some of the strongest Catfishes like the Amazon Redtail, Chao Phraya Catfish and even the Asian Redtail.
