My first Amigurumi Bunny, my first learn for 2015!

My daughter insisted she wanted a white bunny, so i obliged. I sewed leftover fabric from the baju kurung to the ear flaps, and gave it a white nose. A pink balloon adds some whimsical feel. I loved how it turned out!

Amigurumi is easy to pick up and put down, and involves only yarn, a needle hook and my hands. I normally crochet before my bedtime, and any in between time. I've always been fascinated with the as a child. When i first caught wind that my girl's kindi is hosting a party, I jumped at the chance to design one for her.

Enter The Azure Baju Kurung, my modern take on the :) LOVE how it turned out!

Ta-da! Finally completed a boy "Plane" Shorts. Was sitting forever on my sewing table.. eventually completed it today. It came together better than I expected, so I'm pretty pleased. This is gifted to a special boy, Marc for his belated, belated birthday. The End :)

I have been getting a few queries (thanks for the support!) whether the beachrobes can be customised to size, colour and trim. Of course you can!

Although I can go all day on colours and trims (guilty of that!) I have taken the liberty of simplifying the process here. I have also recently graded the sizes beyond preschoolers for a specific order. These are the sizes I currently offer :)

Sizes:
Small (9-18m)
Medium (18-3T)
Large (3T-4T)
XL (4T-5T)
XXL (7T- 8T)

Lead time:
3 -4 weeks depending on peak/non peak periods.

What else? Oh yes...email me your requirements at [email protected]. Thanks.... :)

"Hi everyone! We just came back from a fantastic beach holiday in Penang and checked in to Hard Rock Penang family suite. We stayed in a pink themed suite... how cool is that? The kids' room is just too cute! The kids had a wonderful time playing water slides, making sand castles, doing arts and craft at the club's kidzone. Jamie loves her Hare & Toad Beachrobe to bits! It's so beautifully made! We also visited the now world famous Armenian street - art mural, Penang Hill n shopped till we drop at Gurney Paragon. "

I think we should do a proper introduction for Hare & Toad Handmade Children's Accesories.. in case it wasn't clear enough hehe.
