Fender Telecaster Deluxe Full Upgrade
Part 2:

After going through a lot of tedious processes like spray painting, polishing, fret leveling, fret polishing, and custom pickguard creation, we replaced the original Fender Humbucker pickups with Veritas pickups. Then we swapped out the electronics for Emerson's components. To ensure we could install the Tune-o-Matic bridge and still maintain low string action, we used a CNC to carve a recess clearance ✌️✌️. Finally, we added a golden Bigsby vibrato. The overall color now gives the guitar a whole new level of class. What do you think, does it look good?

Fender Telecaster Deluxe Full Upgrade !

Part 1:
Many people admire the appearance of Fender's Telecaster, but the traditional model lacks an armrest, often leading to discomfort during extended playing sessions. Our client, who loves his Fender Telecaster Deluxe, has asked us to modify the body by carving a comfortable armrest. In addition, we'll be making several other upgrades, including electronic enhancements, replacing the original bridge with a Tune-o-Matic bridge and Bigsby, and installing a custom silver pickguard. This is just the first step—let's see how it turns out.

After some efforts, our client requested us to refurbish this guitar into a relatively rare sea blue color. Moreover, as a whole, we also replaced the plastic binding strips of the fingerboard and the headstock with flamed maple wood. Additionally, the new 5A ebony fingerboard and the inlays were completed without any errors and in a original pattern.
We also precisely restored the headstock logo to its original font style. Additionally, the new stainless steel frets plays so much better than the old nickel frets, and the electronics compartments are fully copper shielded and rewired with our OCD standard.
Now this guitar is just like a brand-new, upgraded Jackson. It looks even more appealing. Even when you're not playing it, just looking at it makes you feel really good. Don't you think so?

This is another Jackson guitar that comes from Hong Kong and requires us to make major modifications, or we can say, corrections. It is a limited edition guitar, the signature model of Misha Mansoor from the United States.
Our customer said that the overall tone of this guitar is quite good and the playing feel is also okay. However, the color finish is not very appealing. There is another issue: the inlay is not aligned at all. It's not properly arranged; it's all crooked and looks really messy, which makes our customer feel quite uncomfortable. A guitar that costs over ten thousand yuan shouldn't have such a quality.
With so many fatal flaws, the only solution is to replace the entire fretboard. The customer also mentioned that the plastic binding strips on the headstock and the fretboard are really asymmetrical compared to the binding of the guitar body. It gives the impression that the whole guitar looks rather cheap and of low quality. Therefore, the customer has requested that we also replace the binding strips on the headstock and the fretboard with flame maple binding strips, so that the guitar will look more high-end as a whole.

Our task this time is to refinish this guitar in a satin black charcoal color. The pickups cover and pickup rings will be replaced with wooden comp, and we'll perform our Pro setup. The client has requested a Brazilian rosewood truss rod cover with an abalone inlay of his name. Additional specifications include custom wiring and pickup wax potting - note that we utilize specialized vacuum wax injection equipment to ensure optimal wax potting results. Are you excited to see how the final product will turn out?

Our customer brought in this old PRS guitar that's been around for a while. As many of you know, PRS guitars tend to develop a cloudy , yellowish cast over time, losing their original dimensional depth and premium appearance. The wood grain becomes obscured, and the finish loses its initial luster. This fading effect is a common issue we often see with older, vintage PRS models.

We deeply appreciate our client's trust in our expertise - they knew we could revitalize this instrument with their dream color palette. Now, let's witness together how this guitar undergoes a remarkable transformation! Stay tuned for the stunning reveal of its new life!

Since the original one way truss rod was severely damaged and the neck was no longer stable, we replaced it with a more durable 2 way trust rod. Additionally, carbon fiber reinforcement bars were added on both the left and right sides. The customer also requested to replace the original rosewood fingerboard with an ebony fingerboard. Therefore, we will also fretted it with stainless steel frets. Now, the bass has regained its former glory and ready to rock again 🤘🤘🤘
