THE CHOCOLATE: “MYTH OR THE TRUTH” 🫣🫣🫣
Whether you eat chocolate on occasion, on a regular basis, or as part of your menstrual cycle, most people would agree that there is something about that simple little decadence that has us all in a trance. According to research, chocolate is the most commonly craved food and is one of the most pop**ar foods to consume during emotional eating.
So, today, we would like to inform all of our followers about the chocolate myth or the truth. Here it is:
1. Chocolate is highly addictive.🤤😲
Myth ❌. Why? It is because chocolate does contain anandamide, an addictive drug-like chemical. If we assume that this substance has the highest possible potency of these chemicals, we would need to consume 25kg of chocolate in one sitting to experience even a remote 'high' and become addicted.
2. Chocolate has a stimulant effect. 👍🏻
True ✅. Caffeine and theobromine are the only two chocolate components known to have effects in doses relevant to everyday consumption (related to caffeine). According to research, the combination of caffeine and theobromine in a 50g dark chocolate bar improved concentration, reaction time, energetic arousal, and well-being. 💪🏻
