2/ 砂模鑄造 : 本節目介紹一項一般工程學原理，亦即：「裝配的零件愈少，生產效率愈高」。這表示有些零件必須是複合的形狀，模鑄是適合製造這些形狀的方法之一，特別是使用鋼之類的高熔點金屬。我們可以從履帶車鏈條製造中，觀察「砂模鑄造」的整個過程。影片中展示了砂模如何被逐步地製造成兩個部份。
