I read this book . It moved me so much . If I could choose only 10 people to follow on IG would be one of them. You know how they say, stay away from toxic people . Jane Lee is the opposite of that. Tho I’ve never met her face to face, she has inspired me with her thoughts and words, ( this lady is miles deep), her moving photos, and her infectious crazy optimism and love for life. At the end of the book , I wanted to start over . Tho there were not that many words, they were honest , raw and moving . I copied a quote from her book in my journal, about mindset. What I’m saying is, you should get this book. This is not a sales plug. Ok, maybe but really, if you need to believe again , ...

Jumping back into vertical weekly pages and loving it . Do you have more than one journal? Right now I have 3 just for journaling . Oh 4, if I include my 5 year hobo. The others are an A6 midori one day 1 page and a Hobo cousin which I started to record life during the lockdown . It started when I read the news one morning and the story of people in Italy , when doctors had to choose who to save. I remember praying so hard for people I didn’t know. It was a time when people just came together in a way they never did before. Things are better here in Malaysia now but elsewhere it’s March all over again , yet people forget . I write the stories because I want to remember , I print photos on instax of newspaper photos and of simple things .-When P cooked us a fantastic meal or the first time we could go out for a walk after months of being stuck at home. I recorded the rollercoaster emotions and grief and stories of people’s courage and strength. Day and days of watching news updates from countries I’ve never been to. And working from home. Remember that? And lists. Books I’ve read. Places I hope to visit . My journals are my constant and faithful companions . Paper hugs are hugs too 😬 Did you start a new journal during that time ?

Happy July everybody! Here are our shop updates :

Online store is open as usual.
Our physical store will reopen on Friday with the following things to note.

3 shoppers at a time . If you just want to look around please visit our online store.

1. We will wear a mask for your safety and you need to wear a mask for us.
2. Gloves will be provided as it will be difficult to sanitize all items in the store.

3. Please practice social distancing , that is , don’t crowd each other or our team . Keep a one meter distance.

4. No children or elderly people for now .

It would be best to make an appointment , we will give appointments with 30 minute browsing time . If we reach 3 people in that time slot , you might have to wait . Call 04 2170318 to book if you’d like a sure slot. (Please don’t dm as I don’t have the appointment book with me)
We will have to do temperature checks and sign ins in compliance with Malaysia law. Hand sanitizers will be provided as well.
It all seems complicated but we want to give it a try and if it doesn’t work out and people don’t comply then we will keep closed.

Saturday 4 July 10-5 pm
