A PRO Setup is done on this Kiesel! Many people don't know our PRO setup is more than string adjustments. One of the many things it includes is shaping of fret ends. We want to ensure all the fret ends are consistent, rounded, and polished to mirror shine!

A customer came in brought in an Ibanez Quest with a broken tuner, troubled with the issue and the expensive replacement fee. The screw is split in half due to excessive strain potentially due to the tuner clocked max but owner continued to tune it up.

Not only we are here to replace the part with a better stainless steel part, we are here to also educated the best way to take care of your guitar.

Contrary to popular belief, new guitar is NOT a perfect guitar. When factories ship the guitars, they have to prep the guitars optimum for shipping. That means very relieved neck, released strings, uneven pickup height etc. The goal is to make sure the guitar arrives in good condition, not optimized to play.

Piled on top of general QC issues, customers in the shop plays the guitar regularly etc. when the guitar is bought by you, it's not actually perfect to play, not yet. Our job is to realize what the best version of the guitar. The playability, action, fret edge treatment, intonation, resonance.

This is why we get to work on the most high end guitars.

LTD Vintage-204 Bass:
Conversion to fretted board using Jescar 57110 Stainless Steel frets
Fretboard Lacquer removal, radiusing and reslot
Pearl Inlay reinstallation
Copper shielding

Jescar Stainless Steels are so smooth and hard, its very difficult to cut and takes longer to craft and level. So a well prepared fretboard is uber-important. Slot depth, slot width, fretboard radius are among a few aspects to really pay attention to make sure not wasting time post-installation.

When your guitar is sent for our refret service, you're guaranteed to get more than your money worth. Not only fret edge feels buttery smooth like nothing else, the guitar action is able to set low and not buzz like average factory done guitars. We draw our inspiration from the likes of Suhr and Tom Anderson, and our goal is to make sure people choose our work OVER Suhrs etc.

The smile on customers face is all we are looking for.

In this industry of service, our purpose is very simple: Give our best to ensure customer's happiness. When the guitar came in for service, it was drowned in dirt and grime. The frets was well played and wear, the hardware is covered in rust and the outer layer is peeling off. We knew it was the perfect opportunity to restore it and make our customer smile again.

Not only we levelled the frets, we go thru and round every fret end, then proceed to sand and polished it to absolute butter. We also removed all the dirt on the fretboard, leaving it looking like a new condition guitar! We had to restore all the hardwares to its original glory as well.

The result is a very happy customer. Your happiness is our happiness.
