Toten SDN. BHD was founded on 7th July of the 2019.
Toten is the brainchild of Kua Jia Le. Jia Le founded Toten when he was at the tender age of 21. He grew up in Bentong,Pahang with his grandparents and never knew his parents. Jia Le always had the ambition to be an entrepreneur.
He founded Toten due to the fact that the earth is dying due to the overuse of plastic bags. Besides, Jia Le is also an environmentalist and always wanted to make an positive impact to the world’s environment. Therefore, he decided to start up Toten.
Moreover, Jia Le also sees a great opportunity in the tote bag industry in Malaysia because the government has recently started implemented a ban on plastic bag. If a customers wants a plastic bag, he or she would need to pay RM0.20 for a plastic. As a result, using tote bag for shopping is a win for the long run.
Tote bag also is a fashionable item that can be used in a person’s daily life. As a result, this industry has the ability to generate a huge revenue if Toten plays its cards right.
