It’s here—it’s finally here! I’m so excited to share this with you.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Erika—from bead shows to working together on projects—and I can honestly say she and her team are some of the warmest, most wonderful people I’ve worked with.
To celebrate 5 incredible years of , they’ve collaborated with 13 designers to create a truly special ebook: Stronger Together. I’m deeply honored to be included among the designers who have shared this beading journey, growing stronger together within our Planet Bead community.
My contribution to the book is a piece called Reliquary Bead. This handcrafted hollow bead is meticulously woven using pe**te stitch, creating a strong yet lightweight architectural form. Its surface is richly embellished with fire-polished beads and cabochons, adding depth, texture, and a subtle play of light. With its faceted geometry and balanced proportions, it evokes a miniature reliquary—something to be held, viewed, and appreciated from every angle.
Like the book, Stronger Together, this piece is built through the coming together of many individual elements—each bead small on its own, but collectively forming a structure that is resilient, balanced, and complete. It reflects how our community grows: through connection, collaboration, and shared creativity.
