INCLUDES LINE STRIPPER

Unscrew clamping bracket and remove metal spool support shaft.
Install shaft in mounting pedestal at upper right corner of base.
Remove outside tensioning cone from spool support shaft and slip on a spool of fishing line. Replace tensioning cone and adjust both cones until they apply moderate drag to the spool. Align with ceter of reel seat.
Mount casting reel into the reel seat fixture. Tighten collar snugly but do not overtighten.
Mount spinning or fly reels upside down.
Attach fishing line to reel spool using Arbor Knot (shown). Turn reel handle slowly until fishing line fills reel spool to desired level (recommend approx. 0.125 in from spool rim).
When reel is full, cut line with built-in cutting tool. Hold line firmly between hands and apply even, downward pressure over cutting blade. When necessary, replace cutter blade with ordinary utility knife blade.
Strip old line fast with Berkley Line Stripper. To use, insert end of line between the rubber guides of the line stripper and press “ON” button until reel spool is nearly empty. (Line stripper takes 2 “C” batteries – not included).
When finished spooling, return spool support shaft and line stripper to compartments in base and secure with the clamping bracket. Entire unit hangs on wall for convenient storage.
