Thank you thank you everyone for coming out the shop, Sunday Funday and Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair last weekend!

We’re getting back to business as usual here in the bookstore, buying, cleaning, pricing and shelving books daily to give them a new life in a new home, so come by and see what you can find.

We’re back in the book shop doing what we do best, prep books to fill the shelves after recent events and pop ups! And we’re looking forward to getting back to our regularly scheduled programming here in the bookstore.

Every Sunday Funday Market is coming up this weekend! We’ve got a special guest chef Jacob bringing a little taste of Canada to Historic Filipinotown with his Peameal Bacon Sandwiches! We’re also featuring artisan cookies, vintage clothing, beauty and skincare, sewn goods, and handmade ceramics! The cooler is packed with refreshments, and the shelves are gonna be stocked with tons of used and new books!

Happy Tuesday everyone! We’re back in the shop unpacking from the book fair and making some small improvements while we’re at it. Come see the Found in Books framed ephemera collection, on the wall here in the bookstore!

And we’ve got a few Star Reader Tee Rainbow Star Tee’s that are now available in-store and online! We sold out of Chocolate Star Size 1 but there are still a handful left in every other size and in the Heather Gray Star!
