Today while metal detecting in the water off Playa Centro I found this wedding band. It is black in color with an engraving. Today while metal detecting in the water of Playa Norte I found this ring approximately 40 feet from shore. The engraving has a date from 2020 and a ladies name. If this is your ring please contact me with the engraving and I’ll return it to you. As always I only request a picture and my actual expenses (postage or taxi/bus fare). Tonight several of my followers suggested Michele contact me after her husband Kirk lost his wedding ring on Playa Norte this afternoon. WOW, what an unbelievable 40 hours. After seeing my post of Suzanne and Adam’s ring being found/returned, I was contacted by August and Jace. They had lost an engagement ring in the ocean in front of Ixchel. This morning I found the ring pictured and it has been returned to them. I am back on Isla Mujeres for our 9th winter and on the 1st day of metal detecting in the ocean in front of Playa Norte I found two rings with engravings that I would like to get back to thier owners. Number 39 is ‘Elizabeth’ and number 40 is ‘Manuel’ and BOTH RINGS HAVE DATES. Please contact me and provide the date if one is yours and I will work to get them back to you. Recap: I left Isla Mujeres on April 1 and plan to return next year. During the last 5 months I have reunited owners with their lost iPhone, perscription sunglasses and wedding rings. I found over 100 rings and countless other jewelry items including earrings, chains, bracelets, etc. I also removed 13.71 kilos(Over 30 lbs) of trash from the waters around Isla. Today I was able to reunite Charles with a ring that belonged to his father before he passed away. Charles lost the ring in the ocean in front of Ixchel Beach Hotel last Thursday. I found the ring metal detecting yesterday and did not post it because it had no engraving. Wendy (Charles wife) contacted me last night requesting help, and today they had great pictures that verified ownership. GREAT FEELING! 😎
