Happy New Year! ¡Feliz Año! Wishing all lots of joy, beauty, health and happiness for 2015.

This year, we´re happy to continue supporting the fantastic initiative started by our friends at the NGO Impacto.

Our traditional piece today is this impeccably handwoven shawl from the master weavers of Chiapas, Mexico. Made by hand on the backstrap loom, it doesn´t get much more traditional than this.

We would also like to invite our community to participate as well. It´s super easy. On Friday (any Friday), put on something traditional, take a pic, upload it to your favorite social network, and use the hashtag . It´s a lot fun and it´s much more interesting than casual Fridays.
