🐾We love our fur-baby clients! 🐕

We made some Khondi (veranda) furniture for a new family back in September 🗓️ (how was that 3 months ago already) & the clients #1 priority were beds for her hounds 🐩

Together we came up with designs and measurements to suit her babies (even using our fur-baby to pose for the pictures) 🐶 They turned out so well- especially when paired with cushions from an organisation very close to our hearts 💕
I’d say they are pretty happy pets 🦴🦮

A friend came to me with some ideas to have something made for her soon to be 5 year old son. She said that his favourite pastime was “Small World Play”, but was struggling to find anything in our little town- she thought we might be able to help.

We looked through some pictures online and came up with a design and measurements for a fort and a for a hut 🛖 Time wasn’t on our side with his birthday 🎁 fast approaching, but we set to work and had so much fun.

What the Cane & Able team came up with and the result have left me proud as punch. And of course the most important part- a very happy birthday boy 🥰

Last year we were commissioned to make a large mirror for a dear friend of ours, who announced their plans to leave Malawi some time after the mirror was delivered.

Now it sits proudly in their beautiful new home in Cape Town, South Africa.
How we miss them- but oh how beautiful it looks!
We hope it helps you reflect on your time here in Malawi 😉 (see what I did there?) & remember us always.
