Created in 1992 , Gecko Kids is a Mauritian brand specializing in the creation and distribution of clothing and accessories for children from birth to 12 years old. Since its creation under the sun of Mauritius, Gecko Kids has never ceased to be the meeting place for parents and children in search of sparkling colors, which are inspired by the Blue Sky, the Sun and the Sea. A selection of clothes
is available to parents – small series or unique pieces, they are, like all Gecko Kids creations, original, comfortable and durable. One-day or Everyday clothes… there is something for everyone! Gecko Kids has two brands:
•Gecko Kids for children from 1 to 8 years old and
•Gecko for older children
Gecko Kids offers unique and authentic products locally, developed by Mauritian clothing designer Varnee Moodely- which is inspired by the little green lizard "Gecko" , the Sun, the Sea , her three Children and the Nature of Mauritius and of Seychelles. Gecko Kids is a Mauritian brand, with its own criteria of Creativity and Quality. We can give you the guarantee that Gecko Kids products are:
•Easily washable and durable
•Sewn in 100% cotton (except beachwear)
•The fabrics are treated to eliminate pilling and shrinkage, very resistant to washing in preserving the colors
•The fabrics are very soft to the touch and very gentle on children's skin

•The embroidery is done by hand

Manufacturing & Supplies:
The manufacture and dyeing of fabrics are carried out in Mauritius in a weaving factory and a knitting factory
The manufacture of clothing is carried out in Mauritius in Clothing Workshops, which work for the “Gecko Kids” Brand, all are specialized for specific products, such as: Swimsuits, Pants, T-shirts, Shirts, Dresses, etc. Quality controls are regularly carried out by the Quality Department of “Gecko Kids” for checking sizes and fitment. Weavers and knitters ensure the Quality of their fabrics by providing a test certificate made and also controlled by “Gecko Kids”
