If you are a beginner and want to know how to make a heart shape with yarn, this post is for you 👆🏼

Be playful 💚

Start: Create a magic ring (or chain 4 and slip stitch to the first chain to form a circle).

Step 1: Chain 3.

Step 2: Work 3 treble crochets (tr) into the ring.

Step 3: Work 3 double crochets (dc) into the ring.

Step 4: Chain 1, then work 1 treble crochet (tr) (this creates the bottom point).

Step 5: Chain 1, then work 3 double crochets (dc) into the ring.

Step 6 = step 2.

Step 7: Chain 3 and slip stitch (sl st) into the center of the ring.

Finish ✨️: Fasten off, leave a tail, and pull the magic ring tight to close the center hole.
