Maltese sweets are full of tradition - like the Village Biscuits (Pastini tar-rahal). Originally they were referred to as tal-Maghmudija, as it was custom to prepare these to celebrate the birth of a new child in a family - and give them out to friends and family when they visit to give their blessing!

Today's village biscuits have lost their meaning and also their taste - but not ours. We make sure to follow recipies that are as faithful to the original as possible, using only the best of ingredients.
