AB Imports is a company that operates within the importation and courier industry. They are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer/store keeper to join their team.Part-time hours may also be considered for the right candidate.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:
· Handling the day to day accounting functions;
· Ensuring that business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles;
· Handling quarterly and annual closings;
· Managing product costings;
· Managing the Front office clerk and Storekeeper by overseeing the smooth running of their respective areas and addressing performance issues as necessary;
· Posting of invoices and payments;
· Monitoring accounts receivables;,
· Handling prepayments, accruals, depreciation, bank reconciliations, and upkeeping of stock inventory in Excel

The ideal candidate will:
· Have a minimum of two years’ working experience in a similar position;
· Be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office is a must; and,
· Have good written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English and Italian

The ideal candidate must be organised, have excellent problem-solving skills and can work on his/her own initiative. S/he must be able to plan and deal with unexpected changes on a day-to-day basis and must be able to work with tight deadlines.
