Marima opened her art shop in 2010 for one-of-a-kind bags and other Kazakh products in Khovd, Mongolia. Within the shop is a room to provide a workspace for other Kazakh woman who don't have their own equipment and can't find other work to support their families. She also is training a new generation of Kazakh women in Khovd the skills to make these culturally important, yet dying, skills. Most b

ags are created by recycling old Kazakh Wall Hangings that can no longer be repaired so every bag is a unique. Most Wall Hangings are repaired and ready for a new life in your home.
