◈ English teacher (Secondary 1 and Secondary 2)

As a teacher at CIS, you are responsible to
0. Work hard!
1. Read course books as well as external resources and have a thorough understanding of the materials to develop lesson plans and curricula.
2. Work in collaboration with other English teachers in lesson planning and teaching strategies.
3. Create homework, quizzes, assignments, exams, and other assessments for the students.
4. Evaluate and grade students’ essays and tests
5. Communicate and counsel with the parents about their children's performance and also consult with other teachers.
6. Apologize to the colleagues/students/parents if you make mistakes, after all, we are all human and it is always a humbling experience to apologize for something that we have done wrong.
7. Use technology that would make life easier for the school, students, other teachers, and parents
8. Work hard again!
As an English teacher at CIS, you are required to have
0. problem-solving mindset.
1. B.A/ M.A in English (or) other relevant Bachelor Degree/Diploma/English teaching qualification
2. At least 1 year teaching experience as an English Teacher to Secondary students (Experience in teaching IGCSE/Pre-IGCSE are more preferable)
3. Highly fluent in English.

6. work ethics.
Most important of all, you are required to "work so damn hard" - can you do that?
Secondary teacher salary:
Basic salary: 700,000 MMK/month for 24 hours per week.
Mode of teaching: You should be able to work at the school campus which is located in Pawsan.
